How stress can be a barrier in Erectile Dysfunction?

Stress is a common issue that every individual is facing nowadays. Stress is a medical condition in which a person suffers from a lot of tension which could result to some adverse consequences.

Since stress is a common phenomenon, it is also responsible for a very popular problem among males called Erectile Dysfunction. Stress plays a major role in Erectile Dysfunction. It can interrupt the signals sent by the brain to the penis. It can send the signals so as not to allow extra blood flow, which could lead to Erectile Dysfunction. Tension, if reached to an extent becomes stress, which could be really harmful to both the sexes, but when we talk about it in men, stress often leads to a medical condition called Erectile Dysfunction.

A study found that Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD) increases the rate of Erectile Dysfunction by three times. Stress for a long time could affect certain hormones in the body and disturb the balance of processes taking place inside it.

Stress should not be taken lightly, as not only Erectile Dysfunction but it can also cause other medical problems like depression, obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol level, and many more.

The person suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder must be dealt with carefully. He must be made to open up about his problems and talk to someone trustworthy. In worse conditions, a psychiatrist is needed for the proper treatment because Stress, if dealt with recklessly, can turn out to be a torment for everyone.
